9-1-1 Excise Tax: This tax is collected by the State of Oregon and distributions to the 911 call centers are made quarterly. A formula roughly based on population served is defined in ORS to determine the amount of the distribution. Recent Legislation passed to incrementally increase this tax from $0.75 per device to $1 per device beginning January 1, 2020 and then to $1.25 beginning January 1, 2021.
Miscellaeous: Tow contract fees, public records and state payments in lieu of taxes.
Contract Service Fees: The District has entered into a small number of contracts for services we provide, this is the income generated from those.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Klamath 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District
